Fun LEGO Designs
Today, we're diving into the colorful world of LEGO and exploring some simple yet engaging structures that kids (and adults!) can build at home.
My first stop was OpenAI. I was pleasantly surprised by the results. The AI generated some intriguing ideas for LEGO structures that seemed both fun and buildable.
Next, I gave Gemini a try. This experience was a bit more hit-and-miss. While Gemini did create images, they weren't exactly what I was looking for. The structures didn't always use the specific LEGO pieces I had in mind.
After some trial and error, Gemini did suggest a couple of simple ideas. Interestingly, one of these suggestions seemed to be inspired by popular LEGO-related content on YouTube:
This raised some questions about copyright and originality, making me a bit hesitant about using these ideas directly.
Putting these ideas into practice
Despite the mixed results from AI, the experiment wasn't fruitless. It got me thinking about what I could create with the LEGO pieces I had on hand. In the end, I managed to build three simple structures:
A Dog
The letter 'A'
The number '1'
These might sound basic, but there's beauty in simplicity. I'm curious to see if my family will recognize these shapes when they see them. It's always fascinating to see how different people interpret abstract LEGO creations.
Happy building!
